Dewey’s Pizza is officially coming to Covington.

The Cincinnati-based pizza chain announced they would be moving into the former location of Parlor on Seventh in the Duvaneck Square Apartment building, at 43 W. 7th St. in Covington. The full-service pizza restaurant is slated to open in early 2023.

The news comes from Braxton Brewery, which announced the opening on their Facebook page.

“We are excited to serve the Covington community alongside Braxton Brewing Company,” said Chuck Lipp, president of Dewey’s Pizza. “The revitalization of the community and the alignment between brands made it an appealing choice.”

In addition, Braxton announced the restaurant would have a space in their taproom. Guests will have options for dining either within Braxton’s large taproom or they may choose a traditional restaurant experience at Dewey’s.

“With Dewey’s Pizza as our new neighbors, we feel we’ll be able to continue bringing a one-of-a-kind taproom experience to locals who already know and love this iconic Cincinnati brand,” said Jake Rouse, Braxton co-founder and CEO. “Their establishment as a restaurant in Downtown Covington is a win for the city as a whole. Through our partnership, this elevated dining experience will grow the Covington area and welcome guests from across the tri-state.”

This will be Dewey’s second location in Northern Kentucky. The other one is in Crestview Hills.
