Revival Vintage Spirits & Bottle Shop is moving to North by Hotel Covington this fall, bringing the bourbon history experience from their current location on East 8th Street.

“This area was one major piece behind the catalytic renaissance of Covington’s central business district and our business will continue the trend by supporting the ‘revival’ of 614 Madison,” co-founder and Covington City Commissioner Shannon Smith said.

North by Hotel Covington is part of a $26 million phase-two development plan, which extends the business’s footprint by a city block. The addition will feature 53 luxury suites, 10,000 square feet of office space, a new bar, and a ballroom that seats up to 500 people.

Revival will feature a full-service bar on the first floor of North, with its library of more than 4,000 bottles for sale on the second floor. Room rentals and a membership and subscription series are also on tap.

“Our entire team is incredibly excited with the addition of Revival to our master development at North by Hotel Covington,” said Guy van Rooyen, president and CEO at Salyers Group, which developed Hotel Covington. “Their business is a great fit not only for our project but for the community at large and continues the development momentum in Covington.”

The shop even has bourbon experts who can either purchase or sell bottles to customers who stop in.

“I am incredibly excited for Revival’s future and the opportunity to share my passion of tasting history through bourbon with everyone,” said co-founder and curator Brad Bonds. “We are looking forward to attracting tourists to the wonderful community of Covington.”
