Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is holding its first-ever Patriot Boot Camp to help entrepreneurs from the military and veteran community connect with investors, experts, and mentors.
The two-day boot camp will include presentations and panels covering a breadth of topics, including funding for startups, scaling a business, and creating a marketing strategy. It will end with a competitive pitch contest and awards ceremony.
DAV acquired Patriot Boot Camp in January. This event is the first of its kind. More than 1,000 alumni have raised over $150 million in venture capital and employ over 1,900 individuals through the boot camp.
The event starts Friday, July 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. for an introduction and welcome to the event.
Then continues Saturday, July 16, from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. is the pitch competition and awards, followed by closing remarks.
The events will take place at the DAV National Headquarters, 860 Dolwick Drive in Erlanger.
