Subscribers to the Campbell County Recorder received a letter this week notifying them that the May 26 issue would be the last.
The publication, a weekly product of the Cincinnati Enquirer, will disappear along with all the other weeklies in Northern Kentucky and Ohio, Enquirer Executive Editor Beryl Love confirmed to LINK nky.
More details would be made available next week after notices are published in other local weeklies, he said.
In its letter to Campbell County Recorder subscribers, the Enquirer said to expect refunds on any remaining balances and to consider subscriptions to its other products like the print edition of the main newspaper and its digital site.
The Enquirer publishes weekly Recorder or Community Press editions serving specific communities or parts of the Cincinnati metro, including Campbell, Kenton, and Boone County.
