Our first wave of storms has already passed bringing some very heavy rainfall to many communities. Some spots Round two’s window will open up around 2 p.m.

Clouds have already given way to plenty of sunshine and that will charge up our atmosphere as we head into the afternoon. The warmer our temperatures get, the higher our energy levels will be this afternoon. Right now, it looks like we will be into the mid to upper 70s.

By 2 p.m. we should see a few isolated storms should start popping up. These storms could quickly turn severe with damaging wind gusts possible and large hail. These storms will also pose a threat for an isolated tornado due to a little turning in the atmosphere. Stay weather aware and our team will be tracking storms as they unfold today!

Showers and storms will continue to move east through the Ohio Valley through 7 p.m. but after that point, we should see less on the radar and a lower risk for severe weather too. We will stay dry but cloudy overnight with temperatures hovering around 55°.

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy and cooler with a high of 64. A lot of Thursday’s forecast will be pleasant as highs increase to 72. However, we will see isolated showers developing later in the day.
