Kenton County Public Works will be performing ditch and grade work on Independence Station Road from Monday, April 11 through Friday, April 15 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
It will be closed from the intersection of Independence Station Road at Cody Road (west side) to the intersection of Independence Station Road and Cody Road (east side.)
Traffic will be detoured to Cody Road around the work zone. Detour signs will be installed.
Local traffic to residences in the work zone area on Independence Station, Meadow Glen and Canberra Subdivisions will be allowed. No other traffic will be permitted. The section of roadway between Lincoln Ridge Park to McHugh Lane will not be passable during work hours even to local residences.
Road project schedules and repairs are subject to change depending upon weather conditions and emergencies, a news release said.
