A few items from the recent bi-annual mailing from Campbell County’s newsletter.  I understand you may not read the mailing cover to cover so a few of the more important items from the mailing:

1. The November ballot will include a proposed tax increase for the building shown above.  The cost of the tax would represent an additional $20 / year for each $100K in assessed value.  This would be the fourth library in Campbell County that includes one in Newport, Fort Thomas, and Cold Spring.  Some interesting annual stats on those libraries include 629,757 visitors, 135K+ computer uses, and over 2,000 meetings hosted.  What do you say is it worth it to you?  More drawings and info on the proposed facility can be found here.

2. The courthouse annex is completed which means you should now go back to the York Street location if you need the District, Family, and Circuit Courts as well as the Campbell Circuit Clerk or drivers’ license services.

3. AJ Jolly now has an online reservation system for booking camping spots.  You can visit www.campbellcountyky.org and click “parks and camping” to access the system.
