A Covington man died Friday afternoon in a crash on Decoursey Pike in Taylor Mill.
Kenton County Police were called to Decoursey (KY 177) under the I-275 overpass at around 4:20 p.m.
Officers found a 2008 Chrysler 300 overturned on the east side of the roadway.
James Woodrum, 31, of Covington, was dead at the scene.
His vehicle was the only one involved and police said that it is unclear why Woodrum lost control and left the roadway.
Woodrum was not wearing a seat belt, police said.
The Kenton County Police Department’s Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction (STAR) Unit is investigating the collision.
