Student council members at St. Joseph School in Crescent Springs collected and arranged for one hundred fuel packs to be donated to Be Concerned’s The Weekend Project.
Â
The program provides food security to local children who may go without on weekends.Â
Â
Currently, forty children from John G. Carlisle and Latonia Elementary Schools in Covington receive them every weekend.
Â
The Weekend Project began in August provides 800 meals each month.
