Maria Vogt is an incumbent candidate for the Elsmere City Council. There are 10 candidates running for six spots on the council.
Vogt sits on the Parking Violations Appeals Board for the city, is a member of the Elsmere Community Center Advisory Council and is a representative for the city with the Telecommunications Board of Northern Kentucky.
Previous reporting by LINK nky also indicates that Vogt is focusing on bringing new businesses to the city.
“We have acquired several new businesses built on lands that have sat empty for many years,” Vogt said during the 2024 election season. “Now we’re making progress filling those vacant spots.”
She also said during that election season she hopes to provide citizens with the resources to address issues they may have, be it service requests or improvements to their neighborhood.
“We are a small town, but we have big goals and aspirations for our citizens and our city,” she said.
Vogt did not respond to LINK nky’s request for an interview. This profile was created with publicly available information about her.
