Garden lovers across the Tri-State are invited to step inside 12 private gardens during the 2026
Covington Garden Tour, set in the historic Old Seminary Square neighborhood of Covington, Kentucky.
On Saturday, June 13 (10 a.m.
–4 p.m.) and Sunday, June 14 (11 a.m.
–4 p.m.), the self-guided tour will
offer a rare opportunity to explore urban gardens tucked behind some of the city’s finest Victorian homes.
Visitors will experience a blend of historic architecture, creative landscaping, and lush outdoor spaces that
showcase the character and charm of this revitalized neighborhood.
“The Garden Tour is more than a walk through beautiful spaces—it’s a celebration of Covington’s history
and community spirit,
” said Jim Jorden, president of the Old Seminary Square Neighborhood Association.
“Proceeds help us maintain neighborhood green spaces and support initiatives that keep Old Seminary
Square a vibrant place to live and visit.

Tours will begin at the ticket booth in front of 1017 Russell Street. The event will take place rain or shine,
and guests are encouraged to allow at least two hours to fully enjoy the tour. Gardens close promptly at 4
p.m. each day.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will support neighborhood improvement projects and benefit the
Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky, which provides low-barrier shelter and services to adults
experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity.
Advance tickets are $20 and may be purchased online. Tickets will also be available for $25 during the
event.
Free parking is available at John G. Carlisle Elementary School (910 Holman Street), located one block
west of the ticket booth. Limited on-street parking is also available.

Guests can enjoy light refreshments at select stops along the tour. A raffle featuring a curated basket of
gardening-themed items will also be held, with tickets available for purchase at the event ($5 each or five
