Sullivan University’s Center for Learning-Northern Kentucky is offering a special program for high school teachers, guidance counselors and administrators on how to help students succeed in online learning.
Led by Dr. Anthony Pina, Associate Provost of Online Learning at Sullivan University, the 90-minute session will utilize team-based learning activities and case-based scenarios to analyze the keys to success in the online learning environment.
By attending the workshop, teachers and counselors will be able to:
- Identify common misconceptions about online learning
- Discuss common errors made by online learners
- Communicate strategies used by successful online learners
- Help students formulate their own success plans for online learning
The session will be held Feb. 23 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sullivan University Center for Learning-Northern Kentucky, 207 Grandview Drive in Fort Mitchell. Refreshments featuring Montgomery Inn barbecue will be served.

Dr. Pina has lectured widely on the subject of success of online learning. He received his Associates, Bachelor and Master’s degrees from Brigham Young University and his Doctor of Education degree in Administration and Leadership from La Sierra University in Riverside, Calif.
