The Northern Kentucky Port Authority has chosen international real estate services company Cushman & Wakefield as the property manager for its two flagship projects in Covington: the OneNKY Center and SparkHaus.

“We are honored to have been selected by the NKY Port Authority to provide property management services for these prime Northern Kentucky assets,” said Christian Hinkle, managing director of asset services at Cushman & Wakefield, in a press release. “This partnership underscores our shared commitment to operational excellence and delivering exceptional value to support the port authority’s vision for long-term growth and community impact.”

Cushman & Wakefield works with commercial property owners in 60 countries, and the company reported $9.4 billion in revenue in 2024, according to the company’s website. The firm was chosen through a competitive bidding process.

The OneNKY Center will focus on life science and medical research. Tenants will begin moving into the building this month, and a grand opening is set for Sept. 12. The SparkHaus will focus on entrepreneurial ventures and co-working. An opening celebration of SparkHaus will likewise take place in September.

“The new construction of the OneNKY Center will forever change the Covington skyline, and SparkHaus breathes new life into a historic building on Madison Avenue,” said Port Authority Executive Director Christine Russell.
