You’ve voted for eight Team of the Week winners this spring. Now is your time to weigh in on who the Team of the Season should be!
Thanks to OrthoCincy Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, we are again proud to partner and celebrate the remarkable achievements of our local high school athletes and teams! New this year for the LINK nky Team of the Week program is the addition of the Team of the Season (TOTS) and Team of the Year (TOTY) awards.
Sports seasons are considered fall, winter and spring for the purpose of this awards program. At the conclusion of each sports season, an overall TOTS winner will be chosen from all previous TOTW winners for that season. Their school will also receive a
$500 scholarship to be presented to the athlete of their choice at the end of the school year.
Finally, the program culminates by selecting one TOTY from the three TOTS award winners. Online and print articles will again be published, a large commemorative plaque will be presented and the school will receive an additional $500 scholarship to
be presented to the athlete of their choice at the end of the school year.
The eight Team of the Week winners from the spring sports season are as follows:
March 30-April 12 — Ryle boys volleyball
April 13-19 — Boone County boys track and field
April 20-26 — Bellevue baseball
April 27-May 3 — Ludlow softball
May 4-10 — Ryle baseball
May 11-17 — Villa Madonna baseball
May 18-24 — Campbell County softball
May 25-31 — Holy Cross softball
