Photos: Indivisible NKY May Day demonstration

Demonstrators stood in the rain on either side of West 5th Street in Covington Thursday. Cars honked as they passed by.

Organizers of the May Day demonstrations, held by Indivisible NKY, told LINK nky they were focused on workers’ rights, immigration and protecting the judiciary.

The protest coincided with other protests around the nation and the world in honor of May Day and International Workers’ Day, both of which fall on May 1.

Indivisible NKY had held a similar protest in Florence earlier in April.
