CINCINNATI, OH — On Friday, May 2, education professionals across the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region are invited to a special, free showcase hosted by Talent Magnet Institute and Thriving Educator, two organizations committed to restoring balance, support, and sustainability to school communities.
“With a recent survey showing that 78 percent of public school teachers are considering quitting their profession and 44 percent reporting that managing student behavior is their top cause of job-related stress, the time for bold solutions is now,” says Talent Magnet Institute Founder and CEO Mike Sipple, Jr. “We’re grateful to help local educators and leaders find calm in the chaos, and to share a proven way forward that will help address these serious issues we are facing.”
Held at the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the two-hour interactive session will introduce a professional learning platform already impacting school systems around the world. Attendees will get a first-hand look at tools designed to reduce educator burnout, address student behavioral health, and create healthier school environments.
And the need has never been greater. Suicide is now the second leading cause of death among youth in Ohio and Kentucky – and across the nation. Greater Cincinnati has also seen a dramatic rise in bullying and mental health crises among students in recent years.
“It’s more critical than ever to build understanding around how an educator’s thinking can impact their own mental wellbeing as well as the students’ learning experience,” says Thriving Educator Founder Charle Peck. “We’re eager to use this event to put local educators at the center, as the people with the greatest power to shift school culture, foster resilience, and create connected, trauma-informed classrooms.”
