Earlier this week, The Cincinnati May Festival announced that 22 singers in the all-volunteer May Festival Chorus will celebrate milestone anniversaries as chorus members during this year’s annual May Festival, May 22-23 with concerts at Music Hall in Over-the-Rhine and the Basilica Cathedral of the Assumption in Covington.

Celebrating his 30th anniversary in the May Festival Chorus is John Black of Ft. Thomas, a sales professional at Proforma Innovative Solutions Group. Â Â
Monica Wilson of Middletown, Sam Stover of Finneytown (a retired minister), and Spence Ingerson, a nurse residing in Westwood, celebrate their 25th anniversaries in the Chorus. Â

The 2015 May Festival marks 20 years of service to the Chorus for Julie Schieve, a reading specialist for Lakota Schools residing in West Chester, Bud Babcock, a project leader for GPA, Inc. residing in Montgomery, Tony Barkley, a musician/teacher for Cincinnati Public Schools residing Downtown, and Michael Merry (retired) of Western Hills. Â

The following Chorus members celebrate their tenth anniversaries with the May Festival: Dawn Bruestle, a retired music educator residing in Walnut Hills; Laurie Boisclair, an A/R Specialist with Transworld Systems residing in Kenwood; Cindy Bourgeois, a patient/family advocate for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center residing in Arlington Heights; Kathy Mank, a CPA with Tipton Interests, Inc. residing in Loveland; Braden Mechley, a teacher for St. Xavier High School residing in Hyde Park; and Steve France, a math teacher for Kinds Local Schools residing in Loveland. Celebrating their five-year anniversaries are Ruth Hill, an educator with the Kenton County School District residing in Covington; Sara Dorger, a Content Developer with Cengage Learning who resides in Wyoming; Sarah Hamilton, a Service Representative for 4 My Benefits residing in Clifton; Jon Olson, a Retail Support Analyst for U.S. Bank residing in Norwood; Jeffrey Stivers, a Library Service Assistant with Cincinnati Public Library residing in Clifton; Jim Laskey, who works in accounting at Xerox Business Services and resides in Florence; Travis Pierce a student residing in Mt. Healthy; a Content Implementation Director for Cengage Learning residing in Amberley. Â

The annual choral festival, under the direction of Music Director James Conlon, dates back 142 years, and features the volunteer May Festival Chorus and the acclaimed Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO). Â
