A still from the Nov. 14 broadcast by the Telecommunications Board of Northern Kentucky (TBNK).

The city of Elsmere authorized the sale of up to 140 million industrial revenue bonds for a development project at the city council’s November meeting.

Under the order, proceeds from the sale of bonds will be used to pay for the construction and outfitting of a manufacturing, processing or assembly facility of any commercial products within the city of Elsmere.

Other development projects are underway in the city.

At the meeting, the city council amended a lease agreement for Elsmere North Phase, which concerns development in a residential area off Fuchs Road by the railroad tracks. An unnamed company will set out spurs to allow cars through the railroads, according to Mayor Marty Lenhof. The city also unanimously voted to vacate a portion of Fuchs Road right of way.
