St. Elizabeth Edgewood received a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

The organization is a federal agency within the United States Department of Health and Human Services that deals with the Medicare program. The agency’s star ratings are based on a comprehensive evaluation of various quality measures, including patient experience, clinical outcomes, safety, and efficiency of care.

The rating serves as a tool for patients and their families to help them make informed decisions about their healthcare.

St. Elizabeth is one of only five Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services five-star hospitals in Kentucky.

“We are honored to receive this exceptional recognition from CMS,” said Garren Colvin, St. Elizabeth President & CEO. “This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire healthcare team, who consistently go above and beyond to provide exceptional care to our patients every day. It also validates our commitment to continuously improving the quality of care we deliver and the overall patient experience we provide.”
