Hundreds of students interning with the region’s largest information technology employers are at Northern Kentucky University today for an all-day professional development conference. The students represent more than 50 universities from across the country.
The IT Intern Summit brings IT students with chief information officers and senior IT leaders from the CIO Roundtable member companies to enhance their career development.
The summit is an effort to grow the talent pipeline in information technology, support the next generation of talent, and encourage these students to return to the Cincinnati region to work after graduation.
The event is in its sixth year, offering interns 20 hours of curated professional development to advance their knowledge and expertise all in one day. Among the highlights, students will hear from newly-elected Congressman Greg Landsman, who will highlight the future of IT careers in the Cincinnati region.
