While it might be a beautiful day right now, that might just be the calm before the storm as the National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for the region.
Per the NWS, the watch is in effect for parts of Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana until 5 p.m. They also added that “additional watches further east may be warranted later in the day.”
They suggest everyone in the area stay “weather aware” throughout the day in case the weather escalates. Officials encourage everyone to have a plan of action in case of worsening weather.
