Over 2,000 Northern Kentucky residents are currently without power due to high winds.
According to Duke Energy, around 1,000 residents in Villa Hills and a little over 1,000 in the Highland Heights and Fort Thomas area are experiencing outages.
Duke has currently not provided an estimated time of restoration for any NKY outages.
The NKY, southern Ohio and Indiana region have been upgraded to a “high wind warning” by the National Weather Service. Gusts up to 60 mph are expected in the late afternoon.
