At their special meeting Wednesday, the Campbell County Board of Education voted to elect Kimber Fender as the school board chair and Peggy Shultz as vice chair.
Fender previously served on the board as vice chair. She has been the District 3 representative for 10 years.
Shultz has served as the District 4 representative for four years and won reelection against her two opponents in the November General Election.
The members will serve in these roles for the 2023-2024 school year.
