Beechwood High School is welcoming the top marching bands from around the Commonwealth of Kentucky to Fort Mitchell for the 32nd Annual Festival of Bands.
The event will feature eight marching bands that will perform on Saturday, Sept. 10. Preliminary competition starts at 2:30 p.m. followed by the finals which start at 7:30 p.m.
The Beechwood Marching Tigers are the reigning Class 2A state champions, and will perform an exhibition to cap off a day of performances.
The top bands competing from Northern Kentucky include the Larry A. Ryle Marching Raiders and the Lloyd Memorial Marching Band.
Bands from across Kentucky traveling to compete include:
- Eastern High School (Louisville)
- Christian Academy of Louisville (Louisville)
- Owen County (Owenton)
- Lewis County (Vanceburg)
- Henry County (New Castle)
Tickets will be available for walk-up purchase on the day of the Festival. Tickets to attend in-person and streaming packages are available for advance purchase online at www.beechwoodbands.org.
