The overnight snowfall created hazardous conditions on local interstates and forced several school districts to close and other schools to open on a delay.
An accident on I-75 northbound at I-275 closed a lane and caused delays (pictured above) while accidents were reported at 12th Street and at multiple spots in Cincinnati.
By 7:45 a.m., the bigger interstate accidents had been cleared in Kentucky.
The storm affected the following schools:
Closed:Â Boone County, Campbell County, Kenton County.
2 Hour Delay:Â Bishop Brossart, Calvary Christian, St. Anthony, St. Cecilia, St. Henry (Elementary), St. Joseph’s (Cold Spring), Walton-Verona.
90-Minute Delay:Â Covington Catholic, Newport Central Catholic, St. Henry (High).
1 Hour Delay:Â Blessed Sacrament, Covington Latin, Notre Dame Academy, St. Joseph (Walton), St. Pius X, Villa Madonna.
