Kentucky lawmakers have taken some steps to address PFAS exposure, including a ban on PFAS-containing firefighting foam and a resolution directing the Energy and Environment Cabinet to provide guidance about PFAS handling, but more needs to be done to protect the public from the harmful effects of the chemicals.
