Independence City Council to place medical cannabis business question on ballot
The Independence City Council voted to send the question of allowing medical cannabis businesses in the city limits to the November ballot after a long discussion, with Council Members Chris Vogelpohl, Greg Waite, Carol Franzen and Tom Brinker voting in favor and Council Members Greg Steffen and Dave Shafer voting against.
Erlanger could soon require registry for hotel guests
Erlanger City Council is considering an ordinance that would require hotels to keep a registry of their guests to help police keep records of tenants, especially sex offenders or those with warrants.
