It’s official: Covington’s Goebel Pool will not reopen
The Covington Board of Commissioners has voted to accept a service agreement with Swimsafe Pool Management, Inc. to manage aquatic facilities at Randolph Park Pool and the Covington Water Park in Latonia for the 2024 summer season, officially closing Goebel Pool for good.

The Covington City Commission will likely close Goebel Park Pool for the 2024 season due to high operating costs. The scheduled final closure of the pool will take place in 2025 due to the Brent Spence Corridor construction.
