Winners of three of the last four 9th Region softball titles, Highlands is once again the team to target for the upcoming season.
Kentucky Prep Softball has been polling coaches from their respective regions and released the 9th Region poll on Monday. Voted on by seven coaches, Highlands is in the top spot.
Here is the top 10:
- Highlands
- Conner
- Cooper
- Ryle
- Notre Dame
- Holy Cross
- Dixie Heights
- Beechwood
- Boone County
- Villa Madonna
Chasing down the Bluebirds will be three members of the 33rd District in Conner, Cooper and Ryle. Then comes two members of the 35th District with Notre Dame and 2025 Ninth Region champ Holy Cross. From there, Dixie Heights, Beechwood, Boone County and Villa Madonna round out the top 10.
