Bishop Brossart football coach Adam Kozerski informed the school on Wednesday that he’s stepping down from the position.

Kozerski spent the last two seasons in Alexandria, leading the Mustangs to a 15-9 record and playoff wins in each season.

“On behalf of the entire Bishop Brossart Community, we would like to extend a gratitude of thanks to Coach Kozerski for his time, commitment and dedication to the Football Program over the past two seasons and wish him the very best,” Bishop Brossart released in email Wednesday evening.

Kozerski took over for Paul Wiggins, who coached the team for 10 seasons from 2014-23. Kozerski was a longtime assistant for his father Bruce at Holy Cross prior to coming over to Brossart for his first head coaching job. Kozerski also teaches at Brossart.

Brossart is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position. Interested candidates should send their resumes to Athletic Director Ron Verst at rverst@bishopbrossart.org.

Brossart’s opening creates the fourth football coaching job open in Northern Kentucky. Scott, Holmes and Campbell County also recently became open.

The Mustangs had 36 players on the roster for the 2025 season, 12 of them seniors including leading rusher Anthony Schuck and top receivers Nicholas Cozzi, Landon Ruth and Issac Amin. Four of the top five tacklers are also graduating including Matthew Riegler, Mason McKinzie, Ruth and Cozzi.
