The Thoroughbreds (8-4) have now won seven in a row and scored exactly 42 points in their last three games.

Now comes a familiar scenario, they head to Campbellsville for the third straight year for a region championship.

Eddie Bivens had a night to remember for NewCath. He carried the ball 25 times for 342 yards and six touchdowns. The six touchdowns ties a single-game program record while the yardage is just five off from Chris Kelly’s 347 in a game. Bivens provided all the scoring while the defense forced three turnovers, Parker Hurtt with two interceptions and Aiden Dance a fumble recovery.
