EDGEWOOD, KY — Representative Stephanie Dietz begins her 2026 re-election campaign, pointing to a strong record of delivering results for Northern Kentucky and a continued focus on winning for families and local communities.
“I ran to be a voice for Northern Kentucky, and I’ve worked every day to deliver real results,” Dietz said. “I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished, and I’m excited to keep fighting for our region.”
Dietz has made public safety a top priority, consistently supporting local law enforcement and school safety. She sponsored legislation giving Northern Kentucky a long-overdue seat on the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council, a move recognized by the Kentucky Police Chiefs Association, and has supported investments in infrastructure and classroom security.
Putting families first has been central to Dietz’s work in Frankfort. She led bipartisan legislation, now law, to protect children by banning AI-generated child sexual abuse material and child sex dolls.
As a member of key budget and policy committees, Dietz has focused on growing Northern Kentucky’s economy by attracting investment and supporting job creation. She helped secure funding for projects such as the Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky and Covington’s Central Riverfront, while advocating for tax reform to lower rates, reduce red tape, and support small businesses.
Looking ahead, Dietz said she is energized by the work underway in the General Assembly during this year’s long legislative session.
“This session gives us the opportunity to pass a responsible budget that meets today’s needs and prepares Kentucky for the future,” Dietz said. “Because we put in the work during the interim, we were ready to hit the ground running.”
Dietz said she is focused on a fiscally responsible budget along with investments in roads and bridges, housing, education, Medicaid, and child care.
“These are the issues that matter to Northern Kentucky families and businesses,” Dietz said. “I’m running to keep delivering results, and I’m ready to continue building off of the momentum we have built.”
