Union, KY resident Kelly Janszen is the new Board Chair of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Cincinnati, a position she began serving in January 2024. She joined the Board in 2019, previously serving as Secretary and Vice Chair, and served on the campaign cabinet for Cincinnati’s Ronald McDonald House’s expansion from 2018 to 2020.
Kelly’s involvement with the House began in 2013, when she joined the Red Shoe Crew, the House’s young professionals group, and its Planned Giving Council. She was also the co-chair of the Red Tie Gala, the House’s annual fundraising gala, in 2023. In addition to being an active member of these groups and a regular donor, Kelly has been a constant supporter of the Taste of Hope program, where she regularly prepares meals for families with her husband, Brandon, her parents, and other friends and family.
In addition to her work at the Ronald McDonald House, Kelly and Brandon have been longtime supporters of other Cincinnati nonprofits, such as Crayons to Computers, Queen City Book Bank and Freestore Foodbank. A new Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center facility in Union, KY, the Janszens’ hometown, was named after the couple for their generous donation that helped establish the location.
