Here at LINK nky, we’ve been working on 2026 election coverage since last summer. So it’s easy to forget that the rest of the region isn’t as versed on everything that’s going on as we are.

Last week, I was talking to someone who is very plugged in politically, and they asked me when we were going to start our election coverage.

After I choked back tears, I pointed out our Election HQ section on our website, which launched in November 2025 on the candidate filing deadline. And then I realized that if they didn’t realize what extensive coverage we’d already done, maybe others didn’t either.

And that’s why we decided to launch our Election LINK newsletter. Because let’s be honest: Figuring out who is running, whether you’re registered, how to register or even when to vote isn’t very easy. Especially in Northern Kentucky.

We will bring you the information you need to your inbox before key dates to remind you to register, for example. We’ll remind you who is running, which ID you need to bring, where you cast your vote, and everything in between.

The weekly newsletter launches on Wednesday and runs through the primary, when we’ll pause for a couple of months before we pick back up as key dates for the general election get closer. We will send you what you need when you need it, with ways to learn more if you’re interested.
