Leadership Kentucky, a nonprofit educational and professional organization that brings together community leaders to gain insight into issues facing the state, is seeking nominations for its 2026 leadership class.
“Our curriculum advances strong leaders, equips them with knowledge about the importance of each region of our state and paves a path of success for the commonwealth,” said Janice Way, president and CEO of Leadership Kentucky. “Year after year we see the positive impact Leadership Kentucky has on leaders from every corner of the Bluegrass State. Each program graduate returns to their community with a renewed focus on service and support.”
Previous NKY alumni include Cheryl Besl of BE NKY, Dennis Kennedy of the Dressman Benzinger LaVelle law firm, Wes Needham of Duke Energy, Adam Roland of CHNK Behavioral Health, Kenneth Webb of Republic Bank and Tami Wilson of the NKY Chamber of Commerce.
The program itself features seven, three-day sessions throughout Kentucky, which will focus on various public interest topics, such as economic development, arts, tourism, natural resources and the environment, social justice, education, healthcare, agriculture and government.
You can nominate someone, including yourself, by filling out Leadership Kentucky’s online contact form here. Applications are due by March 16.
