A 22-year-old man who went missing Friday evening was found dead Sunday morning near Covington’s Monte Casino neighborhood, the Covington Police Department said.
Police said Joshua McDowell was found in a wooded area near the Monte Casino.
McDowell went missing Friday evening after he was last seen in the 700 block of Monte Lane.
At this time, there is no indication that foul play was involved in McDowell’s death, but the exact cause has not been revealed.
Covington police said it was assisted by the Kenton County and Campbell County Emergency Management Agencies, Campbell County LandSAR, Hamilton County Urban Search and Rescue and the Boone County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit.
