Republican, veteran, business owner, and Bellevue resident Terry Hatton filed for State Representative in House District 67.

Hatton is a United States Army veteran who served five years of active-duty service as an infantry soldier in Germany and has over 45 years of corporate security experience. Hatton currently owns VSP Management Company, which provides consulting services and private security in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky for large corporate clients.

“HD-67 is not looking for a puppet of the Democratic Party who is bought and paid for,” Hatton said. “We want someone who understands our community and the real-world problems that our district faces. We deserve a leader who will work for the people, not one political party.”

A lifelong Kentuckian, Hatton has been married to his wife, Kathy, for more than 20 years, has four children, and seven grandchildren. Hatton lives in Bellevue, where he has coached Knothole baseball, chaired the Bellevue Veterans Club youth leagues for the past 25 years, served more than 750 children per year, and held multiple leadership roles within the Bellevue Vets Club.

Hatton is an active member of the Knights of Columbus and Divine Mercy Catholic Church. Professionally, Hatton has been a member of the American Society for Industrial Security for more than 35 years, serving in several chapter leadership roles and being inducted into the organization’s 2023 Chapter Hall of Fame. Hatton was also honorably inducted into the 2024 Kentucky Veterans Hall of Fame class for his community service.

“For far too long, northern Campbell County has been underrepresented in Frankfort and lacked a seat at the table in Northern Kentucky,” Hatton said. “As your State Representative, I will fight to continue lowering the state income tax, strengthen and improve our local school systems, secure critical infrastructure funding, provide more resources for small businesses, and work closely with local law enforcement and community leaders to ensure northern Campbell County remains a safe place to live, work and raise a family.”

Kentucky’s State House District 67 includes Bellevue, Cold Spring (part of), Dayton, Fort Thomas (part of), Highland Heights, Newport, Southgate, Wilder, and Woodlawn.
