I-275 eastbound in Kenton County will undergo daytime traffic closures this week, and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is advising drivers to plan ahead.
Specifically, crews will close the right and center lanes on I-275 eastbound near the Turkeyfoot Road exit, exit 82.
The closures will allow crews to make concrete repairs to bridge overpasses in the area. Closures began Monday at 9 a.m. The lanes will stay closed until 4 p.m. every day thereafter, and the work is scheduled for completion on Friday, Jan. 16, weather permitting.
“Crews will first make repairs to the bridge over Horsebranch Road (80.69 mile point),” according to a KYTC announcement. “Once repairs are completed at this location, the crew will shift to the I-275 bridge over Madison Pike (KY 17). When crews are making repairs on this bridge, another double lane closure will be in place. Additionally, the exit on-ramp from Madison Pike to I-275 eastbound will be blocked during working hours.”
