Local attorney and NFL agent Jesse Foreman, a Republican, has filed to run for Kentucky’s 69th Congressional District.
Foreman, a Florence resident, is challenging incumbent Rep. Steve Doan in the GOP primary scheduled for May 19, while Wilanne Stangel and Bryan Snapp are competing in the Democratic primary.
Kentucky’s 69th Congressional District straddles Boone and Kenton County, encompassing parts of the Elranger, Elsmere, Florence, Edgewood, Fort Mitchell and Lakeside Park.
In his campaign announcement, Foreman described himself as a lifelong Republican who supports pro-growth and fiscally conservative policies.
“Throughout my life I’ve had people that have helped me, but no one has ever given me
anything. I have had to fight, scratch and work hard to achieve what I have in life,” Foreman said in a news release. “I will bring that same fighting spirit and work ethic to Frankfort on behalf of everyone in the 69th district.”
Moreover, Foreman criticized Doan for opposing “many of the good policies” put forth by the Republican supermajority in the Kentucky General Assembly throughout his tenure in office.
The filing deadline the May 2026 primary is Jan. 9.
