Florence-based Kona Ice, a mobile shaved ice franchise, has launched a confections line ahead of Valentine’s Day.

Kona Ice, in collaboration with Hilco Sweets and CandyRific, debuted its namesake Gummy Heart Box in retailers on Dec. 26. These tropical-flavored gummies are uniquely shaped to resemble Kona Ice cups.

CandyRific is a Louisville-based candy brand and novelty confectioner that’s worked with well-known brands such as Kool-Aid, Warheads and Hostess Brands.

In addition, Kona Ice is launching Ice Popping Splash, a multi-sensory candy product that combines three classic sweets in one package: classic lollipops, candy gel, and popping candy, set to arrive in stores for Easter 2026.

“We are thrilled to bring the joy of Kona Ice to retail shelves for Valentine’s Day and Easter,” Kona Ice founder Tony Lamb said in a news release. “This marks our first licensed product launch and it’s a major milestone in delivering the real flavors and happiness of Kona Ice beyond the truck. We’re excited to share another Kona Ice experience with families everywhere.”

Kona Ice’s candy line will include their most popular flavors, such as Tiger’s Blood, Blue Raspberry, Pina Colada, Ninja Cherry, and Watermelon Wave, available in various confection formats.
