Kentucky House Rep. Marianne Proctor (R-Union) announced her reelection campaign for the statehouse on Dec. 15.
Proctor represents Kentucky’s 60th district, which encompasses the City of Union and parts of rural, western, and southwestern Boone County.
“I was honored to officially file for re-election to continue serving the 60th District. It has been my sincere privilege to be your voice for your values in Frankfort,” she wrote in a Facebook post. “Throughout my service, I have kept my promises to fight for our freedoms, uphold law and order, strengthen families, and protect private property.”
Proctor was first elected in 2022, after she defeated longtime incumbent Sal Santoro in the Republican primary by 131 votes. She was reelected in 2024, defeating Democrat Deborah Flowers in the general election.
The 2026 GOP primary is scheduled for May 19. So far, Proctor is the only candidate in the race from either party.
