Kenton and Campbell Counties have dialed back the level 2 snow emergencies declared on Saturday to level 1 snow emergencies, as of 2 p.m. and 12 noon Sunday, respectively. Boone County remains at level 2, as of Sunday afternoon. Several cities have also begun downgrading their snow emergencies.
Level 1 snow emergencies correspond to hazardous road conditions. Drivers should exercise caution, and vehicles should be moved off public streets to make room for snow trucks.
