Erlanger is now home to Northern Kentucky’s newest Dairy Queen franchise.
On Thursday, the American Dairy Queen Corporation announced the opening of a new Dairy Queen at 3098 Dixie Highway. The building, which was previously a Taco Bell, has been extensively renovated to function as a Dairy Queen.
The restaurant is operated by Keep It Cool, a franchise group led by entrepreneur Keith Chambers. Keep It Cool runs 14 Dairy Queen locations across the Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus metropolitan areas.
“Dairy Queen has always stood out to me as a beloved brand with deep roots and a strong reputation,” Chambers said in a news release. “There’s something special about the way it brings people together; everyone has that nostalgic memory of enjoying a cone with family or friends. Our goal is to create that same sense of joy and connection here in Erlanger. We see this restaurant as a welcoming spot for the community to gather, share good times, and make new memories.”
The new store includes indoor seating, a drive-thru, a mobile order pickup area and an outdoor patio. It offers the chain’s full food and dessert menu.
The restaurant is open daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. The drive-thru remains open until midnight.
