Bellevue’s annual tree lighting ceremony is back, with a new “SnowPlow and Santa” holiday tradition.
The tree lighting event will take place on Nov. 29 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The parade, which will run from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m., starts at The Party Source and ends at St. John’s. The snowplow will be Santa’s “reindeer” and decorated with light-up antlers, tinsel and Christmas lights.
Families can also enjoy photos with Santa, letters to Santa, a fake snowball fight, and a complimentary hot cocoa and mint tea bar.
The city will light the tree at 6:30 p.m. at the corner of Fairfield and Ward Avenue in front of St. John United Church of Christ.
