Publix is set to open a new store in Florence, according to an official statement from the company released on Tuesday.
The 55,325-square-foot Publix Super Market will be located at the northeast corner of US 42 and Farmview Drive. It will be a part of the prospective Farmview Commons complex and will feature an adjacent Publix Liquors that will offer beer, wine and spirits.
As of now, an opening timeline has yet to be confirmed, according to the release.
The news comes just one day after the Public Supermarkets Inc. — the grocer’s corporate entity — announced it would open a store at the northeast corner of Harris Pike and Madison Pike in Independence.
