Three new firefighter/EMTs, Kevin Moranz, William Bowling and Zachary Lewin, were appointed to the Newport Fire Department effective Feb. 27.
“All three of these gentlemen are highly recommended for their respective departments,” Newport Fire Chief Frank T. Peluso said. “They’ve all successfully completed the pre-employment process. We have three gentlemen who will be paramedics shortly, and we also have one who is a military veteran, so I have no doubt that these three gentlemen will do very well.”
