Stephanie Dietz is the incumbent candidate for the Kentucky House of Representatives’ district 65, which includes a solid middle chunk of Kenton County. Click here to view a map of the district. She will face Democratic challenger Aarron Currin in November.
Dietz is an attorney with a background in family law. She has occupied the seat for District 65 since the beginning of 2023. Many of the bills she’s sponsored over the years have focused on children, marriage law and domestic violence. She was also instrumental in passing laws banning AI-produced child porn and child sex dolls in the Commonwealth.
“As a lifelong Kentuckian, small business owner, attorney and mother, I understand the challenges families face and the importance of having a representative who listens, works collaboratively and delivers results,” Dietz said. “I want to continue building on the progress we’ve made and ensure Northern Kentucky has a strong voice in Frankfort.”
Dietz said her priorities if reelected were “supporting policies that attract and retain high-quality jobs, investing in critical infrastructure, expanding workforce development and ensuring our schools and law enforcement agencies have the resources they need to succeed.” She also added “responsible tax reform” and “cutting unnecessary regulations” as policy priorities.
“I remain committed to putting families first by supporting educational choice and ensuring parents have options that best fit their children’s needs,” said Dietz “I will continue advocating for economic development projects, infrastructure improvements, and investments that bring jobs and opportunity to Northern Kentucky.”
