Paula Graszus is an incumbent candidate for the Ludlow City Council. There are eight candidates running for a spot on the six-person council.
Graszus works as a legal assistant at a law office in Cincinnati. She will conclude her first term in office in 2026. She said she was running for reelection because she “enjoyed” her time on council thus far and wanted to continue “to support the work of our current council for the betterment of our town.”
Graszus pointed to the need to attract business to the city and invest in the current business landscape to ensure the health of the city. Ludlow has historically struggled to retain business, which inevitably affects its tax base and population. As the former proprietor of a local Ludlow business, Papa Dinno’s Pizza, which closed after five years of operation, Graszus has spoken about the need to attract a greater consumer clientele, especially from neighboring Boone County, in the past.
“We need to invest in our current businesses to make them feel appreciated while working to attract new businesses and show them what we have to offer,” Graszus said.
