Justin Wade is an incumbent candidate for the Elsmere City Council. There are 10 candidates running for the six-seat council.

Wade runs a mortgage brokerage business out of Fort Thomas. In addition to serving as a council member, he represents the city on the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments (OKI) and with Kenton County Planning and Development Services.

“I am seeking reelection to continue working for the people and families of Elsmere,” Wade said. “I have more to do to improve the safety of our streets and the amenities that are offered in our city.”

During his time in office, Wade helped bring Little League Baseball to the city and worked on getting an additional left turn lane on New Buffington Road.

Wade said that his top priorities would be to lower the property rate and “continue to listen to the needs and concerns of the residents of Elsmere.” Like other candidates in the election, Wade pointed to a greater number of amenities in the city as a way of encouraging people to stay.
