Joe Pelle is looking to be reelected to the Silver Grove City Council to continue what he helped start with the USGS study/reduction in flood rates, improvement to infrastructure, parks and trails, he told LINK nky in a 2024 candidate profile interview.
He also wants to help keep the tax rates down and be transparent through a bulletin/message board throughout the city to keep residents informed.
Pelle faces Rachel Cooper, Lauren Franzen, Justin Imhoff, Eric Noble, Mary Spivey and Julie Ziegler in the Nov. 3 general election.
“As a current city council member, we have addressed flood rate issues, actually hiring a consultant to help lower flood rates even further,” Pelle said in 2024. “Improving our infrastructure needs via sidewalks, streets, and stormwater have all been added over the years.”
Other improvements Pelle mentioned were to the city’s parks.
Pelle said they have also added nature trails in the Catfish Hole. Throughout the improvements, Pelle said the council has always kept tax rates in mind, which he said have been lowered since he joined in 2016.
Pelle said his over 11 years of city council experience, building relationships with county, state and federal officials, help address Silver Grove’s most pressing needs and set him apart from the other candidates.
LINK nky attempted to make contact with Joe Pelle multiple times, but he did not respond. Information that appears in this profile was drawn from social media accounts, on-the-record statements at public events and other information publicly available.
